New England QRP Club : The Excitement is Building....

The NEQRP website will be down for maintenance sometime this weekend. It may be inaccessible for several hours while we upgrade the site. Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE 2010-06-27: After nearly 4 years without an upgrade, the site is again up to date. This is an important step into the present. Among the improvements:

1. The underlying software is current (Drupal 6.17), lowering the likelihood of security issues and unexpected glitches.
2. Addition of a WYSIWIG editor for blog posts, comments, etc. This will make it easier to format text, post links, add images to posts, and other routine tasks.
3. Addition of a new spam-fighting system, which hopefully will make life easier for the admin team and harder for the spambots.
4. A somewhat more flexible "theme" for tweaking the appearance of the site.

But it also creates new challenges:

1. The module used for image management over the past few years (acidfree) is no longer maintained and does not appear likely to have a future. The hundreds of images shared on the site remain on the server, but it will take a bit more effort to get them displayed. Please be patient. Meanwhile, a new image module is installed and ready for testing.
2. Major upgrades seldom go without a hitch. Bear with us as we iron out the wrinkles. Comment here if you want to report an issue.
