Hi Gang,
I found a NE/scaf kit that I purchased about 1 year ago.
Before I start putting this one together is there and mod or updated chip for it?

Hi Bob.

A while ago we started supplying the improved LMF100 chip that replaced the MF10. It does have somewhat better performance, with a bit less noise. I wouldn't call it a manditory upgrade, though.

Check which IC you have. If you have the MF10 and would like to get the LMF100, I believe you can order one through the Club Store Page.

Yes I have the older chip so the newer on is in order
I just may go ahead and get another kit and put this in the older SW 40+ I have
