LobsterLobstercon is the premier QRP event in Northern New England. It's a "relaxed QRP forum," where QRPers can gather to discuss the finer points of the hobby.

Since 2001, Lobstercon has been held in Brunswick, Maine, at the Thomas Point Beach campground. The next Lobstercon will be July 12-14, 2013.

(The roots of Lobstercon reach back to a November 1999 event at the Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in Portland, Maine. The following summer, the event moved to Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. From there it moved to Brunswick.)

You can see photos at Brian Riley's and Bob Schmeichel's Lobstercon pages. The event is put on by QRPme.

Note: NEQRP is not a sponsor for Lobstercon, inasmuch as we do not provide financial or logistical assistance. Many of us wouldn't miss it, though!
