I was born at an early age, into what was left of Liverpool (UK) after a recent visit by the Luftwaffe. Growing up into a city that was to become the centre of the universe, my buddies really were John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison and Stu Sutcliffe (The Beatle Who Died). Also great friends with Anthony Haygarth (the Brit TV actor) and Bill Stewart, now head of London Weekend Television. There was also Roger McGough and Brien Patten (the English poets) and many other artists and musicians. A great place. First job was as bouncer at the Cavern Club where It All Happened. I then decided education was needed to make up for the education I was supposed to get from the Liverpool Education Authority but dyslexia and dyscalculea got in the way. After nearly 45 years, I retired as the Administrator of the Law School at Flinders University of South Australia. Marj and I live with two spoiled cats on two-thirds of an acre of paradise, overlooking the vineyards of the McLaren Wine district of South Australia and the Gulf of St Vincent. Main Rig: HW-8, also SW-40+ and a 20 metre RockMite. And 17 two metre rigs. Don't ask.....Double harnessed yagis for 2 metrees and an OCF windom for HF. Plus a couple of receiving antennas. I just love home brew!
